CTIA’s Customized TZM Alloy Component

Customized TZM Alloy Component Picture

1. What's Customized TZM Alloy Component?
Customized TZM Alloy Component (Titanium Zirconium Molybdenum Alloy Component) is a high-temperature molybdenum alloy precision part manufactured through powder metallurgy and precision machining. TZM uses molybdenum as the matrix with titanium (Ti: 0.40%–0.55%), zirconium (Zr: 0.06%–0.12%), and carbon (C: 0.01%–0.04%) additions to form TiC and ZrC dispersion-strengthened phases. It mainly includes support parts, structural components, fastening parts, fixtures and other customized components. With excellent high-temperature strength, creep resistance, dimensional stability, and thermal resistance, the TZM components meet complex structural requirements in high-temperature, vacuum, and thermal cycling environments.

2. Advantages of CTIA’s Customized TZM Alloy Component
(1) Excellent high-temperature strength: With a tensile strength of ≥200MPa at 1200°C, it performs significantly better than pure molybdenum and withstands severe high-temperature loads.

(2) Outstanding creep resistance: With extremely low creep rates under 1000°C and 10MPa conditions, it maintains dimensional stability during long-term service.

(3) Excellent hardness and wear resistance: It maintains structural stability under high-temperature friction and long-term operating conditions, extending component service life.

(4) Excellent dimensional stability: With a coefficient of thermal expansion of approximately 5.0×10⁻⁶/K, it minimizes deformation after thermal cycling and maintains high dimensional accuracy.

(5) Good thermal conductivity and thermal shock resistance: With thermal conductivity of 120–140W/(m·K), it effectively reduces thermal stress and adapts to rapid heating and cooling cycles.

(6) Strong complex machining capability: Supporting turning, milling, grinding, drilling, threading, and other precision machining processes, CTIA can manufacture complex structures and customized components according to application requirements.

3. Applications of CTIA’s Customized TZM Alloy Component
CTIA’s customized TZM alloy component is mainly used in:

(1) Metal hot working equipment: Used for key structural components in hot extrusion and hot forging dies, such as extrusion die cores for copper and aluminum alloys and high-temperature forging die components.

(2) Vacuum high-temperature equipment: Used for furnace supports, heater clamps, heat shield supports, and other thermal field components in vacuum furnaces.

(3) Glass, ceramic, and powder metallurgy forming equipment: Used for high-temperature forming components, such as glass forming dies, ceramic hot pressing die components, and powder metallurgy hot pressing structures.

(4) Semiconductor, aerospace, and high-temperature equipment: Used for high-temperature precision structural components, including crystal growth furnace parts, vacuum equipment components, and aerospace load-bearing parts.

4. Specifications of CTIA’s Customized TZM Alloy Component
(1) Supply Forms: TZM rods, TZM plates, TZM discs, TZM rings, and TZM precision-machined components

(2) Specifications: Dimensions, structures, and machining accuracy customized according to application requirements

(3) Surface Finishes: Precision machining, grinding, and mirror polishing
