CTIA’s TZM Alloy Bolt

1. What’s TZM Alloy Bolt?
TZM Alloy Bolt (Titanium Zirconium Molybdenum Alloy Bolt) is a heat-resistant threaded fastener manufactured through powder metallurgy by incorporating titanium (Ti: 0.40%–0.55%), zirconium (Zr: 0.06%–0.12%), and carbon (C: 0.01%–0.04%) into a molybdenum (Mo) matrix. The TiC and ZrC dispersion-strengthened phases formed within the alloy provide excellent high-temperature strength, creep resistance, and thermal stability, enabling the bolt to maintain thread integrity under long-term high-temperature and thermal cycling conditions. CTIA’s TZM alloy bolt is designed for structural fastening applications in extreme temperature environments, including vacuum furnaces, high-temperature furnaces, and semiconductor equipment.
2. Advantages of CTIA’s TZM Alloy Bolt
(1) Excellent high-temperature preload retention: With high mechanical strength (room-temperature tensile strength of 600–900MPa), it maintains reliable load-bearing capability under prolonged high-temperature stress, helping preserve fastening force and reduce loosening or failure risks.
(2) Superior creep resistance: TiC and ZrC dispersion-strengthened phases improve resistance to high-temperature deformation and effectively suppress creep under long-term loading, ensuring stable fastening performance (tensile strength of approximately 500MPa at 1000°C).
(3) Excellent thread dimensional stability: With a high recrystallization temperature (approximately 1350–1450°C) and low coefficient of thermal expansion (approximately 5.5–5.9×10⁻⁶/K), it minimizes thread clearance changes during repeated heating and cooling cycles, improving assembly accuracy and connection stability.
(4) Reliable performance in high-temperature vacuum environments: With a high melting point (approximately 2620°C), low vapor pressure, and excellent high-temperature structural stability, it is suitable for long-term service in vacuum furnaces and high-temperature equipment.
(5) Good precision machining capability: It supports various thread specifications, head designs, and length dimensions, with customized bolt structures available for complex equipment assembly requirements.
3. Applications of CTIA’s TZM Alloy Bolt
CTIA’s TZM alloy bolt is mainly used in: (1) fastening of heaters, heat shields, furnace supports, and internal structural components in vacuum heat treatment furnaces, high-temperature sintering furnaces, and vacuum furnaces; (2) connection of wafer heat treatment chambers, vacuum chambers, and high-temperature components in semiconductor manufacturing equipment; (3) heat-resistant fastening components in sapphire crystal growth furnaces, rare earth melting equipment, and high-temperature material processing systems; (4) fixation of electrodes, heating components, and furnace structures in glass melting equipment; (5) aerospace engines, high-temperature testing equipment, and other specialized industrial systems requiring high-temperature strength, low deformation, and long-term reliable fastening.
4. Specifications of CTIA’s TZM Alloy Bolt
(1) Types: Hex bolts, socket head cap screws, countersunk bolts, and customized bolt designs
(2) Dimensions: Customized diameters, lengths, thread specifications, and structural designs available
(3) Surface Finish: Machined surfaces, polished surfaces, and customized surface treatments available
