1. What's TZM Alloy Screw?
TZM Alloy Screw (Titanium Zirconium Molybdenum Alloy Screw) is a high-temperature precision fastening component manufactured through powder metallurgy using molybdenum (Mo) as the matrix with titanium (Ti: 0.40%–0.55%), zirconium (Zr: 0.06%–0.12%), and carbon (C: 0.01%–0.04%) additions to form TiC and ZrC dispersion-strengthened phases. Designed for small component fixation and precision assembly in high-temperature, vacuum, and thermal cycling environments, CTIA’s TZM alloy screw maintains excellent thread accuracy and reliable fastening performance during long-term service due to its superior high-temperature strength, creep resistance, and dimensional stability.
2. Advantages of CTIA’s TZM Alloy Screw
(1) High-temperature precision assembly capability: Offering a room-temperature tensile strength of 600–900MPa and excellent rigidity, the screw meets the load-bearing requirements of small fastening components under high-temperature conditions while reducing deformation and failure risks.
(2) Excellent thread dimensional stability: With a recrystallization temperature of approximately 1350–1450°C and a low coefficient of thermal expansion of 5.5–5.9×10⁻⁶/K, the screw minimizes thread dimensional changes during repeated heating and cooling cycles, maintaining assembly accuracy.
(3) High resistance to thermal loosening: Excellent creep resistance reduces preload loss under long-term thermal loads, allowing the screw to maintain reliable fastening performance during continuous operation.

(5) Excellent vacuum and high-temperature stability: With a high melting point of approximately 2620°C, low vapor pressure, and excellent structural stability at elevated temperatures, the screw is suitable for long-term use in vacuum environments.
