CTIA’s TZM Alloy Disc

1. What's TZM Alloy Disc?
TZM Alloy Disc (Titanium Zirconium Molybdenum Alloy Disc) is high-performance molybdenum-based alloy material manufactured from high-purity molybdenum raw materials (Mo≥99.95%) through powder metallurgy process. It uses molybdenum (Mo) as the matrix and incorporates titanium (Ti: 0.40%–0.55%), zirconium (Zr: 0.06%–0.12%), and carbon (C: 0.01%–0.04%) to form TiC and ZrC dispersion-strengthened phases, effectively improving high-temperature strength, creep resistance, thermal stability, and dimensional accuracy for precision functional components operating under vacuum, high-temperature, and thermal cycling conditions.
2. Features of CTIA’s TZM Alloy Disc
(1) Stable high-temperature performance: Melting point of approximately 2620°C, with room-temperature tensile strength of 600–900MPa and excellent mechanical properties at elevated temperatures.
(2) Strong thermal cycling resistance: Low coefficient of thermal expansion of approximately 5.5–5.9×10⁻⁶/K, reducing thermal stress during repeated heating and cooling cycles.
(3) High dimensional accuracy: Uniform microstructure with excellent flatness and dimensional stability after hot working and precision machining.
(4) Reliable long-term service performance: TiC and ZrC strengthening phases effectively inhibit grain growth and high-temperature deformation, improving service life.
(5) Good machinability: Supports turning, grinding, lapping, drilling, and precision machining, with customized specifications available.
3. Applications of CTIA’s TZM Alloy Disc
CTIA’s TZM alloy disc is used in: (1) thermal field components for vacuum high-temperature furnaces; (2) structural components for semiconductor thermal processing equipment; (3) components for single crystal silicon and sapphire crystal growth equipment; (4) high-temperature load-bearing discs, heat shields, and support plates; (5) vacuum coating equipment and high-temperature electrode assemblies; (6) high-temperature precision components for electronics, aerospace, and other advanced industries.
