1. What's TZM Molybdenum Alloy Piercing Plug?
TZM Molybdenum Alloy Piercing Plug (Titanium Zirconium Molybdenum Piercing Plug) is high-temperature tooling specially designed for seamless steel tube hot piercing, manufactured using high-purity molybdenum (Mo≥99.95%) as the base material. The molybdenum matrix is alloyed with titanium (Ti: 0.40%–0.55%), zirconium (Zr: 0.06%–0.12%), and carbon (C: 0.01%–0.04%) to form stable TiC and ZrC dispersion-strengthened phases. CTIA GROUP manufactures TZM alloy piercing plugs through optimized composition and precision machining processes, ensuring excellent high-temperature strength, deformation resistance, and wear resistance for seamless steel tube hot piercing applications under high-temperature, high-pressure, and high-friction conditions.
